Review: Bittersweet Legacy - R.G. Angel

Bittersweet Legacy Bittersweet Legacy by R.G. Angel
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

R.G. Angel is a new author for me and if this is the standard of her writing, then I will be continuing to read books by her. The main character, Esme was a wonderful character who is so strong. Being seventeen and living with her widowed father, her life is pretty normal going into her senior year at school, falling for a boy and just getting on with life. But not everything is what it seems and Esme’s life is turned upside down when she learns that her life is not what she thought it was. Thrown into a world that she isn’t her own, with glitz, glamour, betrayals and backstabbing…what is she to do?

To also add to Esme’s life is her new father, Archibald, brother, Archie and his best friend, Caleb who also seem to enjoy throwing spanners in the works when it comes to Esme and her life. For Esme, everything is certainly not what it seems and she seems to be forced into playing a game with Caleb where there seems to be secret upon secret.

You’ll find out that there is a cliff-hanger, so none of your questions are going to get answered. Hopefully in book two, fingers crossed 😊 Emotions run high in this one and you flit between liking and hating characters which is always exciting when reading and it has a wonderfully, strong, sensitive and engaging main character. A definite thumbs up from me!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review 😊
