Review: Dangerous King - Sienna Snow

Dangerous King Dangerous King by Sienna Snow
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Dangerous King by Sienna Snow is book one in the Street Kings series, and it is a sinfully hot book! The story focuses on Danika and Nikhil a complex couple who have known each other since childhood, one was shy and sweet, the other grew up on the street. As adults, Nikhil has become a mogul and Danika is put into an awkward position with her abusive uncle, but she has secrets of her own and this woman is powerful with a capital P. Her history with Nikhil is intense at times but they have both loved each other for a long time, sadly communication and their pasts get in the way of a clear run for these character’s.

Danika must make a deal with Nik and hopes that she doesn’t lose herself in the process whilst Nik has to come to terms with how her feels about the woman that owns his heart! There is definitely some sexy times between the two characters and I also loved the sub story that went on and hope that we get more from Nik’s brother in the series. I’m also intrigued to see if Danika’s slimy uncle pops up more too.

Overall, a really good and suspenseful romantic read!

Review: Until Hanna - Aurora Rose Reynolds

Until Hanna Until Hanna by Aurora Rose Reynolds
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Until Hanna by Aurora Rose Reynolds is book 13 in the Until Him/Until Her series and follows the story of Hanna Mayson and Walker St. James. Hanna meets Walker through her job as a flight intendent and both of them are instantly taken with each other, but it can only be a holiday fling since both of them have jobs that take them away from long periods of time. But when Hanna lets Walker know the reason that she can’t be more with him, it is game on and Walker will literally do anything to keep Hanna and help her to understand how important she is.

This was a wonderful book that can be read in one sitting. Hanna is both sweet and shy but feisty when she needs too. She has her girl gang behind her, and it is only from being burnt that she is hesitant to get together with the sexy and authorities Walker. When something bad happens though, he has Hanna’s back and even chats with her family (which gives him a big tick in the Mayson family book). Walker is definitely what Hanna needed, he is a mature man, with some dominant tendencies, but definitely treats her like royalty, even when she keeps pushing him away.

If you like your romances sweet with some hot scenes thrown into the mix, then this one is for you. Don’t forget the rest of the gang who also pop up in this book and you have a really great story with a HEA. A great addition to this series.

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊

Review: Inciting a Riot - Karen Renee

Inciting a Riot Inciting a Riot by Karen Renee
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Inciting A Riot by Karen Renee is a fast-paced MC read set in the world of the Riot MC. It focuses on the characters Vamp and Lorraine. Vamp cheated on Lorraine many years ago and he has regretted it ever since. When he finds Lorraine in a dangerous situation, he knows that he will do anything to help her as well as make his past wrongs right. Lorraine on the other hand is unlucky in love, well at least when it comes t choosing the right man who isn’t a cheater. Sadly, things don’t work out for her once again and she finds herself in a violent confrontation which not only affects her work life but also her personal life. Enter the Riot MC, people who she formally knew and loved until Vamp messed it all up!

Lorraine is a sassy woman who knows her own mind and doesn’t need anyone to save her. When she comes under the protection of the Riot MC, she knows it is in her best interest to take their help, but she doesn’t want Vamp’s help as he hurt her so much. Slowly though, their relationship starts to bloom again and both of them can’t ignore the tension that is between them.

There is a lot of sexual tension between these two characters, and it just works. Yes, there is some instant forgiveness and love, but it is an overall enjoyable story. Throw in some MC men, sassy women, suspense and sexy times and you have an easy read. What I really liked about the story is the other characters on the peripheral, and I hope they all get their own book so we can swoon over some more MC men.
