Review: Wilt (The Order #2) - Nikki Rae

Wilt Wilt by Nikki Rae
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

This is the second book in The Order Series by Nikki Rae and it picks up from the cliff-hanger that the first book ended on. We see the development of Fawn and Elliot’s relationship, but Elliot has shared his secrets with Fawn on why he wanted her and what he needs from her. The characters are really interesting as it seems that Fawn is strong when Elliot isn’t and vice-versa. They are two characters that play off of each other and we see more into Elliot’s history and the similarities he has with Fawn.

As always, Fawn is an intriguing character as she seems to live behind a mask of nonchalant, not letting people get close to her and at times you see her push Eliot away to only hold him close. Whereas Elliot wouldn’t be considered a dominant Master, there are certainly elements of this in him when he is ‘disciplining’ Fawn or getting her ready to play a certain role.

This was a faster paced book that book 1 and it gave you more of a feel for the characters. It is still dark, at times chaotic and sensual with a lot of intrigue and twists and turns which will make you want to keep reading to see what happens to Fawn and Elliot as well as other characters. A must read for dark romancers.

ARC received for a fair and honest review.
