Holy Moly, this book was hot! This is the story of Gideon Kane and Charli Vaughn and boy is it a page turner. Charli works for a Gentleman’s club as the Madame, looking after her girls; staff and ensuring their safety and that people have fun in her high-class environment. To keep everyone safe she and the club are protected by none other than Gideon Kane…mafia, tough guy who is trying to keep track of his empire whilst keep Charli safe. The only problem is that these two have a history and sometimes it comes back to bite you in the ass!
This was a fast paced read for me, but you manage to get all the feels for the two characters and their relationship which is pretty intense. Secrets, lies, ultimatums make up this whole book as well as sadness for the past and a future that may or may not be.
Savvi V. draws you into this sensual page-turner, which leaves you wanting to know more about the characters that are in the book as well as leaving you with a cliff-hanger which looks to continue throughout the series. You will definitely be captivated by the strong heroine in this novel as well as he enigmatic Gideon Kane. A must read!
