Brianna Hale is a new author for me, but what I’ve read I certainly liked. Come to Daddy is intriguing, hot, heart-pumping, all wrapped up in slightly bad boy, Micha, also known as Daddy. Clara, our young heroine is merely trying to survive life. After gaining the debts of her dead parents, she is forced to find a way to pay back the Russian Mafia but at a cost. Hence her becoming a Sugar Baby. I actually enjoyed the fact that Clara researched what it was and how it worked before she made a deal with her rich, good-looking Daddy. Clara is a really strong, female character which is nice to see. She knows what she has to do and won’t go against her moral compass. She stands up for herself and tells Micha like it is.

Micha is also an interesting character as we see two sides of him in this book. On one side he is this ultra-cool, non-emotional, grumpy man. But on the other side, he cares about what happens to Clara and although it takes a little while to show it, he does care for her. The background to who he is and the relationships he has with other people but especially his brother, Damir is very interesting and I like the sass that he gets from his PA.

The Sugar Daddy and Sugar Baby story line certainly was interested and sometimes the word ‘daddy’ could be a little bit cringe-worthy, but that is also what made the book fun. The are definitive moments of sexiness as well as intrigue, especially in scenes where Micha’s brother Damir turns up (can we say psycho!).

Overall, this was a really steamy, exciting read and I can’t wait to read more from this author.
