Review: Miss Mechanic by Emma Hart

Miss Mechanic Miss Mechanic by Emma Hart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another hilarious read by Emma Hart. I love the rom-com hilarity that are her books and they definitely take your mind of your day.

This book is centered on Jamie Bell is a woman technically in a man's world. Working as a mechanic she has to prove herself time and again that she is just as good as any man, especially in the mechanical world. Enter some confusion when she applies for a job at her father's old mechanic shop. Here she meets the delicious Dexter Ryne who loves nothing more than to wind up Jamie and a bet that she won't make it two weeks before she is fired.

Jamie Bell was a great character and sometimes I felt that it was her sheer stubbornness which got her into trouble. She is sassy and strong willed but so is leading man Dexter who brings just enough machismo and laughter to make two wonderful characters.

Additional character such as Dexter's grandfather, aunt and sister and Jamie's best friend make this book a well rounded, laugh out loud book to read.

I can't wait to see what else Emma Hart has us her sleeves.
