Review: Never Always - Rachel Robinson

Never Always Never Always by Rachel Robinson
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Never Always is a really sweet read from Rachel Robinson with the focus on the main characters of Tennyson who is the quintessential geek of her domain. She gets flustered when it comes to attracting the opposite sex but has a bit of snarkiness to her which is quite refreshing. Oh, she is also super clumsy. She comes up against Navy SEAL, Grange who through his hot temper is having to do some community service at the pace that Tennyson works. But all is not smooth sailing and Grange seems to be able to get Tennyson’s hackles up no matter what she does. He can be pretty brutal in how he acts and thinks.

The fact that there is a sub-story to grange makes him more likable and the twist in the story is heart-breaking and you’re totally left rooting for the two characters to get back onto the same line as they were previously. They are both strong in their own way and this shines through in how they interact with each other as well as other family and friends. There is just something about all of the characters in this book that pulls at your heartstrings and Grange is genuinely a nice guy which definitely comes through the more you read of this book.

If you like easy-read romances with a twist of humour and steaminess, then this is the one for you!

ARC received for a fair and honest review.
