Review: Bad For Me - Shanora Williams

Bad For Me Bad For Me by Shanora Williams
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Bad for You is the first book I have read by Shanora Williams and it was enjoyable. The book centres around Nova and the story is ultimately told from her point of view. Nova is a free spirit, she doesn’t want to be tied down by anyone and after the disappointment of her family and how she was brought up, she is just looking out for herself and her brother. When he brother gets into a spot of bother with the local MC ‘The Lords’, Nova will do anything to help him, even sacrificing herself to the MC President, Wolf.

Wolf is a law unto himself. Having the backstory of an urban legend, Wolf is the alpha of his MC and it shows when you are first introduced to this aggressive, tall, brooding man in his first scenes. Wolf takes Nova as payment and the rest we say is history.

This book is a fine balance between what Nova is going through and how she sees Wolf and learns about his background. The description of the MC is often harsh and certainly not sugar-coated. This MC is rough, brutal and often violent and that is what we read throughout this novel. It seems that it is only Nova’s sheer determination that keeps her alive as there are moments when you think her life is just going to end.

The steamy scenes are particularity hot in this book and there is definitely a build-up between Nova and Wolf not only sex wise, but also emotionally throughout the book. There is also a few amazing twists in this book which you will not see coming and it will eb interesting to see what happens next in this series.

If you like your MC’s harsh, sexy and taking no prisoners. Then this is the read for you!

ARC received for a fair and honest review.
