I love a good paranormal romance and this one was no exception! The characters were amazing in this book. Paige Alice is my hero! she is so spunky, well put together and just doesn't put up with anyone's rubbish. The fact that she has been through some life-changing things and still keeps going is testament to her as a good character. Also the facts that she has a harem of extremely hot men isn't too bad either. There was nothing that I didn't like about this book. The romance, intrigue, family dynamics and the dog!
The story starts off with a bang as you find out what Paige has turned into and what that means for her and her family. She ends up entering a world of Others which she knew nothing about and has to become a leader almost overnight with people standing in her way and trying to take her down. with the help of her family and harem, that isn't going to happen and this first installment sets the scene for what is going to be an epic series.
If you've read any of Lila's books before, you know they are going to be smoking hot and this one is no exception. A must read for paranormal fans and fans of Lila Rose in general! You go girl!
