Review: Gin & Jewels - Kimberly Knight

Gin & Jewels Gin & Jewels by Kimberly Knight
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐stars

This story had a little bit of everything; romance, intrigue, tragedy and love. This story looks at Brad and Cassie’s story showing what people will do for family, even if they aren’t blood related.
Brad has always wanted to be a Marine but gave that up when his mum got sick and went into a more lucrative job at Saddle and Racks working to help pay for her medical bills and live his life without having to look over his shoulder. Cassie lost her parents when she was fifteen through tragic circumstances and now, she is left living with her brother who is doing everything he can to make a quick buck and make Cassie’s life harder than it should be.

This story focuses on how Brad and Cassie’s relationship develops when bad luck and outside forces try and stand in the way. It really is all about love and what you would do for your person, the one that means the most to you whilst having to let someone go!

This was a wonderfully written, beautiful story. It is part of the series but as I have only read this book by Kimberly Knight, I didn’t feel like I was missing out on too much other than some basic background information.

Overall, if you like a little bit of drama, love, tragedy and a darn good read, then this is the one for you. Brad is also not hard to picture in your mind 😊

ARC received for a fair and honest review.
