Review: Thorn - Tracy Lorraine

Thorn Thorn by Tracy Lorraine
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Wow, this was a fast paced read for me and a really good bully romance. You think Jake Thorn has the perfect life, the money, the fame of being the football Captain and girls begging for his attention, well you would think wrong and it only takes one look at the somewhat broken Amelie to bring this bad boy to his knees.

Amelie is trying to get over the death of her parents and her big move from the UK to the USA. She has to start a new school and basically wants to stay under the radar which isn’t going to happen when Jake takes an instant dislike to her and tries to make her life a living hell. There are some really cruel moments from Jake in this book and the things that not only he does to her but also his gang. Amy is the strong sort though and she isn’t going to let this bad boy best her, if anything she is going to keep pushing at him until she finds out what his problem is.

There is definitely a connection between the two straight away and it is a slow burn to red hotness in 0.1 seconds. There is a lot of development between the two characters and how they feel as well as what has sparked the trauma between the two of them, which in essence brings them closer together.

This is a great bully romance/ enemy to lovers’ book which is an easy read with a great story-line. It would be interesting to pop back in on these characters when they are older to see if any of the issues had been resolved and how they are handling things.

ARC received for a fair and honest review.
