Review: Scrap: A Steel Bones Motorcycle Club Romance - Cate C. Wells

Scrap: A Steel Bones Motorcycle Club Romance Scrap: A Steel Bones Motorcycle Club Romance by Cate C. Wells
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Scrap is a really sweet and often times a difficult story to read, mainly due to what the characters have been through. Scrap Allenbach is a legend in the Steel Bones MC after spending ten years in jail after being a vigilante hero for Crista Holt. Crista has been through the worst thing imaginable and she is still struggling with living her life and being her best self. Everything changes when Scrap is released from prison, but is Crista strong enough to handle what Scrap wants to give her?

This was a beautifully written story about tragedy, PDST and sheer perseverance from both characters. Scrap was a wonderful character to read about and you could see how much he cared for Crista and just loved her for so long, even with her scars. Crista’s story was heart-breaking as was (I feel) the lack of understanding and how the rest of the MC family treated her, apart from her sister. It seemed as though even though Crista had suffered something horrific, they just wanted her to deal with it and move on even though she seemed to have daily reminders of what had happened to her.

The chemistry between the two was wonderful and the slow burn and honesty that both characters had about their relationship was refreshing. You feel the emotion, pain and even happiness that these characters feel and are going through with each page that you turn. This is definitely a must read for all MC fans.

ARC received for a fair and honest review.
