Review: Falcon - Michelle Heard

FALCON FALCON by Michelle Heard
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ star

Falcon is the first book in the Trinity Academy series by Michelle Heard. Falcon Reyes is seen as a God at school, not only is he gorgeous, but his wealth and power make him untouchable. Enter Layla, a girl who may be smart, but doesn’t come from the same type of money that Falcon does, and to make her life harder at school, her mother is Falcon’s father’s PA and she is only going to the school due to that.

This story is all about class and how certain people try to fit in but to the detriment of themselves. This book has lots of ups and downs. Although the main synopsis is the growing relationship between Falcon and Layla, we also see Falcon’s relationship and expectations of his horrid mother, how Layla is treated as a woman because she doesn’t fit into that mold (some trigger warnings) and how some people think that their money will cover up for them.

This was a highly addictive novel. Layla as a character is great and the fact that she makes herself fit into Falcon’s group had moments where you laugh out loud because it was quite awkward (hugging Mason…classic!). Falcon and Layla are perfect for each other, mainly due to the fact that they do seem to be so in sync. The pranks that they try to pull on each other were hilarious and I’m glad that Layla put Falcon in his place a time or two.

The relationship between other characters, such as Mason, Lake, Julian and Kingsley were so well done and you really see the connection between them all when you’re reading. I highly recommend this book if you’re looking for a fun, easy, emotional read with really great characters!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review 😊
