Review: Enticed - Harlow James

Enticed Enticed by Harlow James
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Enticed by Harlow James is the second book in the Emerson Falls Series. This time the book focuses on the characters Cooper and Clara. One night, Clara is attacked at work in the worst possible way which has led to her being on a downward spiral of drinking and PDST. Cooper was one of the Police Officers on call that night and saw what happened to Clara as well as seeing her downward spiral.

This book focuses on the relationship that the two want to have with everything that is going on. Not only has Clara survived an attack but she hasn’t come to terms with it, she has a high-profile job and she is very anti-relationships. This is in comparison to Cooper who is a younger man whose been sworn off Clara by his older sister (Book 1), is a cop and knows that Clara needs to deal with her issues before they can have a healthy relationship.

The interplay between the two characters is hot. Clara can be sassy and Cooper can definitely give it back. This story is certainly about transformation and facing your demons and Cooper is definitely with Clara all of the way…even when it gets hard. The whole gang from Emerson Falls are just great to read about, they highlight what strong friendships are and how they’re important and you can certainly see it in this book. The book is written in such a way that you want to keep turning the pages to see what happens as you’re totally invested in the characters relationship and the development of a school boy crush into a wanton need for this woman story line.

If you enjoy happily ever after, with some sexy scenes and a page turning plot, the Harlow James is the author for you!

There may be some triggers for people when reading this book.

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review 😊
