Review: Savage Prince - Alison Aimes

Savage Prince Savage Prince by Alison Aimes
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Savage Prince is book 2 in the Ruthless Warlords series by Alison Aimes and boy is it a scorching hot read. Alpha mafia royalty Maxheim Skolov is on the hunt for the person who kidnapped his twin siblings. Whilst on a mission he comes across Omega, Tess who is in a nightmare situation. Captured and forced to submit with her ‘special’ gift, she is making a lot of enemies and not everything is what it seems. Friends become enemies and both Max and Tess are thrown into the middle of it as they try to overcome their mating bonds, whilst trying to survive in a harsh and violent world.

Max was a really strong alpha and from the get-go, we see what he is willing to do for his family. Even with the introduction to Tess, he still has a plan to get his family back, although sometimes this is detrimental to him listening to what Tess wants and just steamrolling over her. Tess is a wonderful character who has been through so much. She is vulnerable but strong and even when truths come to light, she still keeps on fighting. Her attraction to Max may be instantaneous, but she isn’t going to let him dominate her…at least not too much!

This series reminds me a little bit of Lora Leigh’s Breed series and it is certainly as hot as them. Savage Prince kind of has everything that you would want in a book, actions, intrigue and red hot passion that leaves you wanting to mop your brow. The story was good and kept you wanting to turn the pages. I wouldn’t normally go for alien/mafia/omega-verse books, but this one was definitely good and made me want to continue reading the series.

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
