Hate Me
is the quick read novella by Harmony Grey and boy does it pack a punch. Emily’s
life has been uprooted since her mum remarried and has given her a new
stepbrother…Carter, who is the bane of her existence. Arrogant and King of
Woodville High, Emily has to be careful where she steps, or she’ll have to face
his wrath. But what happens when she tells a little white lie?
This is a
fast-paced novella that puts you right into the relationship of Emily and
Carter and has the will they/won’t they vibes going throughout the whole thing.
Emily is feisty and doesn’t put up with any nonsense from Cater, whilst we also
see-through Carter’s eyes and how and why he feels the things he does for
Emily. The book ends with a cliff-hanger, and it will be interesting to see
what happens with the characters after the way it ended.
