Review: Glass Heart Broken - Lindsey Iler

Glass Heart Broken Glass Heart Broken by Lindsey Iler
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Glass Heart Broken is book two in the Glass Heart Academy Series and boy is it a fast paced, heart pumping read! We’re back with Marek and Palmer and the epic cliff-hanger that we were left with in the first book. The boys have tried to break Palmer and when that failed, they’ve tried to fold her into their group, but Palmer is stronger than they think and her forgiveness is not going to be easy, especially for the boy who has her broken heart….Marek.

Marek is as cruel as ever in this book, not only does he continually torment Palmer, but he knows that something deeper is going on at the Academy and he will stop at nothing to get the answers, even if that means using Palmer as prey. Marek continues to be haunted by his past which spews out into his present and how he sees and treats people. There is certainly a darkness to him, and he loves nothing better than tying Palmer to him, by whatever means necessary.

There is so much going on in this book, not only with Marek and Palmer, but also secondary characters such as Dixon, Breaker and Byron (I can’t wait for their stories). A lot of secrets are going to come to light in this book and truths about people are going to come out and blow you away.

I don’t want to give too much away with this book, but you must read it, it is just fabulous! The chemistry between Marek and Palmer is hot and page turning. Palmer has sass and vulnerability which make her the perfect female character….she is a queen in her own right. There are some dark twist and turns in this book, everyone is playing a game but it isn’t necessarily the same game.

If you loved the first book, you are going to love this one especially as some questions get answered, but a few questions still have some threads coming off them that you just want to pull. Another favourite of 2020 and an author to put on you TBR lists!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
