Review: Cross the Line - Becca Steele

Cross the Line Cross the Line by Becca Steele
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Wow, what did I just read! This novella was everything that I hoped it would be. Kian and Preston’s story is amazing: warm, steamy and at times heart-breaking. Preston is new to Alstone High from America. If his life wasn’t difficult enough, he also becomes the ‘star’ player for the school football team, taking over from Kian who is normally the teams MVP. Kian really doesn’t like being replaced and goes out of his way to make Preston’s life difficult. But their attraction runs deep and soon enemies become something more.

I absolutely loved this story! We’ve met both Preston and Kian in a previous book, which left us intrigued about there relationship and Ms. Steele has certainly delivered in bringing us more detail about both of their lives. There are certainly some heart-breaking moments when we see how Kian’s parents’ treatment causes Kian to second guess himself, and we see true vulnerability from him in a number of scenes with Preston. Preston on the other hand is such a strength, even though he is nervous about being at a new school, he knows his worth and even Kian’s and he definitely brings out the best in Kian….even his devilish side.

This book was all about the sexy, the scenes between the two were smoking hot, intense and sometimes angry which kept you turning the pages. This was a story about crossing lines, finding yourself and loving someone no matter the cost. A brilliant read!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
