Review: To Love a God - Evie Kent

To Love a God To Love a God by Evie Kent
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

To Love a God is the debut novel by Evie Kent and tells the story of Loki and Nora. The story is told from both characters POV as Nora comes to terms of being held captive by a God and what that means for her life, whilst Loki comes to terms with holding a woman like Nora captive who wont bend to his will…well at least not too much.

The story weaves the tale of Loki’s past to his present and what has aided him in being held prisoner for over 800 years and in a way, Nora becomes a type of conscience for him and holds him accountable whilst helping him to piece together his curse and how to end it.

The story is really descriptive and you can feel and see the cave that both of the characters are shackled too and the terror that Nora feels at being trapped with someone who is known to lie and manipulate. We also see the development of Loki into someone who thinks about others than himself and his past. He is certainly intrigued by Nora and it isn’t all about getting into her pants…. although those scenes are super sexy too!

This was a really great dark paranormal romance that shows a feisty woman going up against a God, and it definitely won’t disappoint.

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review 😊
