Review: Escape of the Fae - Taylor Spratt

Escape of the Fae Escape of the Fae by Taylor Spratt
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Escape the Fae by Taylor Spratt is book 1 in the Poison Penitentiary series. The book focuses on Jesy, a sassy, strong alpha Fae who has been sent to Pembroke Penitentiary for various crimes, but unbeknown to the prison, she is also there to get out her weaker brother, Michael. But things don’t go to plan and she finds that he mouth has gotten her into trouble with the warden and she now has a hit on her from everyone in the prison…that is everyone but the four ‘others’ that come to her rescue.

Jesy is one of those characters that you instantly want to read more about. Not only is she strong, has a wicked sense of humour and is ferocious in how she deals with things, but she is genuinely likeable and doesn’t take any crap from anyone and certainly doesn’t need saving in the traditional sense. Add to the mix her four unlikely saviours; vampire, werewolf, dragon and demon and you have a mix of men, personalities and hotness that want you to keep reading.

There are twists in the story-line, different points of view and lots of action in this book. Yes, it is a book in the series so as many questions go unanswered as they do get answered, but that is part of the fun! If you enjoy reading paranormal harem style books with wicked characters and a great story-line, then this is the book for you!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review 😊
