| The D- in 302 is an enemy to lovers/neighbours to lovers themed book. The story focuses on Declan Ward and Brett Coburn. Brett and Declan live in the same apartment complex, as the new neighbour, Brett doesn’t want to make waves. But he doesn’t realise that the dog that he is looking after for his ex is keeping the night-owl, artist and new neighbour awake at all hours. This seems to start a letter feud full of misunderstandings from both men, until it’s not . What I enjoyed about this book is that both men had preconceptions of each other which solely came from past experiences and lack of communication on both their parts. It was fun to watch their flirting and relationship develop into something more with some angst thrown in. The letters were both beautiful and funny and really helped to set the slow burn story up into a head full of steam passion! Overall, the story is sweet and easy to read with some really great characters thrown into the mix. ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review 😊 |
