Review: Prospect - L. Wilder

Prospect Prospect by L. Wilder
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Prospect by L. Wilder is just one of those books that you pick up and binge read to the end. With amazing characters, a great story-line, some sexy scenes and a motorcycle club. What more could you ask for?

The story centers around Clay ‘Prospect and Landry. Clay has had a pretty hard time lately; his life was spiraling out of control and it is only with his MC member uncle stepping in and helping become a Prospect for Satan’s Fury MC that he starts to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Working hard as a mechanic and prospecting takes up a lot of his time and he has no time for a relationship, that is until one night he helps Landry who has accidentally hit dog.

Landry is a hard worker, working for Social Services her days are filled with helping children and families. With the burden that that brings to her emotional health, on the way home one night she accidently hits a dog and is helped by Clay. Sparks fly instantly but both of them are a little scared to take anything further, due to time, baggage and life just getting in the way.

This was a wonderfully written story and although it has some graphic elements of what living in an MC can be like, you are left with an overall sense of brotherhood and looking out for one another. It was great to see Clay come to that realisation before it was too late as well as learning how he got his club name (no spoilers). Clay and Landry have a lot going on in their lives and you really get the sense of them trying to balance it throughout the story as well as Landry understanding hat Clay has this harsher side to him and that it is something that she is going to have to accept if she wants to be a part of his life.

There is certainly a connection between all of the characters in this book and you are rooting for Clay and Landry throughout. There are some tough scenes though that both of them have to work through both professionally and personally, as well as some really steamy scenes. If you like well written MC romances, then you can go any further than L. Wilder. A delightfully sinful read!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review 😊
