Review: Always the One for Me - Carrie Ann Ryan

Always the One for Me Always the One for Me by Carrie Ann Ryan
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Always the One for Me is book two in ‘The Wilder Brothers’ by Carrie Ann Ryan. The book focuses on the characters Evan and Kendall who meet on the way to Las Vegas and have a whirlwind romance which ends up with them getting married. But life throws them a curveball and after two years of being married, Evan walks away and it could be his biggest regret.

Fast forward numerous years and Kendall works for Evan’s family, and it seems that everywhere she turns Evan is there, being broody and still wanting her yet continuously walking away. Kendall is frightened to put her heart on the line again, but there is just something about Evan that calls to her. When the Walker resort is put into jeopardy and the truth about why Evan walked away comes to light, relationships are going to be put to the test!

This was a beautifully written story with some heart-wrenching moments. Kendall and Evan together just make sense, they make each other whole but sometimes they say and do things which just hurt each other. Time definitely made the heart fonder in this story and also highlights how PTSD can affect a relationship. Sexy scenes between the two characters were steamy as was the added drama of will they/won’t they get together. Secondary characters were also great, and I definitely think that some of them will have their own stories soon! Overall, a really great read!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
