Review: Distrust - G.N. Wright

Distrust Distrust by G.N. Wright
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Distrust is book one in The Hallowed Crows MC series by G.N. Wright is an MC, reverse harem pulls at your heart string type of read. The story focuses on Rebecca, a young woman who returns to her father’s club after his untimely death and back to the three men who broke her. Rebecca is a broken character who is holding secrets to keep people safe (not that they know that) From the start, Rebecca is thrown back into the MC world and into the centre of Ezra, Aiden and Killian’s revenge against her (you’re going to have to read it to figure out where everyone stands). At times the men can be cutting and don’t give Rebecca a chance to explain why she is the way she is, but just keep throwing accusations at her (which at times are pretty rough, when you the reader know what’s going on).

There are times when you feel like no one has Rebecca’s back, everyone has made up their mind about who and what she is without giving her a chance to explain. I definitely think things are going to get real when all of the cards fall in the next book in the series. Yet through the whole story, Rebecca keeps her head high because how can you break something that is already broken?

There are some scenes in this book which may be triggering for some readers and some parts of the book that are difficult to read. You do hope that the men get their fingers out of their butts and start thinking with their big brains (just saying). There is also a huge cliff-hanger at the end which is going to make you want to get the next book and binge-read!
