Review: Ruthless Bishop - Veronica Eden

Ruthless Bishop Ruthless Bishop by Veronica Eden
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Ruthless Bishop is book 3 in the Saints and Sinners series by Veronica Eden. This book focuses on. The book tells the story of Connor and Thea. Conner is the keeper of secrets and the giver of blackmail and that is exactly what he does to Thea when she gets ensnared in his web through her innocence and trying to let her confident, sensual girl out. But Thea isn’t going to go down without a fight! She will twist Conner up in knots, making sure he sees the error of his ways throughout the book.

This was a great read, not only do we have the innocent Thea who is an amazingly strong character. Not only has she been put in a precarious situation with Conner, but she also has to deal with her feelings regarding the past, deal with her mum and also deal with the pressures of being a young adult in a world where everything is put on the web for everyone to see.

On the opposite side we have Conner who comes across as cocky and self-assured. Yes he is sexy, but at times he can also be cruel, intense and uniquely smart. He goes head to head with his family (great storyline) and is kind of surprised by Thea who just won’t do what she is told! Together we have two characters that really do complement each other. One who is sweet and innocent and one who is rough around the edges, but as we know opposites attract, and these two characters set the pages aflame with their chemistry.

There is a lot going on in this book with a lot of varying storylines which all come together really well. There are (of course) lots of sexy scenes, lots of suspense and twist and turns. There may be triggers for some readers going in, but the author covers that at the beginning of the book.

Readers who have enjoyed the previous books in this series are going to love this one. I know I did!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review 😊
