Rated – XXX is the debut novel by Mya Oh. The story follows Bailey Finch, who works as the Calendar Editor for a sex and relationships magazine, when the ultimate opportunity falls into her lap. Her very first magazine interview with none other than the Elijah Mattox a wanna-be mainstream actor who is also the main headliner in porn….what could possibly go wrong?

This book was sweet, quirky, and funny. Bailey is a hoot to read about and she manages to get into lots of trouble when she is left unsupervised. What I particularly like about her was how self-deprecating she was and how feel her self-image and thoughts felt. Her relationship with Elijah whilst funny also had moments where there were some issues which came across as something that could happen in real life as well as Bailey working through what it would be like to date a porn star. Both Bailey and Elijah bounced off each other and there were some really good moments where they just connected through their quirkiness.

Overall, for those that like rom-com novels, then this is the book for you! Bailey is relatable which always makes a book more fun. The book is engaging, fun, laugh out loud and just an enjoyable read. I can’t wait to see what else this author has to offer.
