by Suzanne Wright is book 5 in the Dark In You series and focuses on the characters
Devon (a hellcat) and Tanner (a hellhound) and to say that they are each
other’s opposite is an understatement, but there is just something about both
of the characters that when they are together makes them spark. Devon and
Tanners demons should hate each other, but they are intrigued, protective and
hellbent on making sure the two of them become each other’s anchors and they won’t
let anything, or anyone step in their way.
When
Devon is nearly kidnapped, Tanner seems to go to overdrive and his attraction
and protectiveness of her warps into hyperdrive. As Devon and Tanner
investigate who is trying to get to her as well as dealing with a serial killer
and others who are going to get in their way, there is literally going to be
fur flying and snark happening! I loved the conversations that these two characters
had, sometimes it is sarcastic, sometimes it is sweet and sometimes, it is
very, very steamy!
I loved the additional characters in this book too and as a side note I can’t wait to see who else gets a story! Overall, a great paranormal read with some suspense, romance and a dash of violence thrown into the mix!
