Throttle’s
Seduction is book 7 in the Insurgent’s MC series by Chiah Wilder. The book
focuses on the characters Throttle, the Road Captain of the Insurgents MC and
Kimber a feisty mechanic that knows her own mind. There is definitely an
instant attraction between the two, but when Throttle opens his mouth, his
chauvinistic side seems to come out instantaneously which puts up Kimber’s
back!
There is
a lot of too and fro in the book, especially with how Throttle feels and at
times he is quite negative about Kimber’s job as well as women in general which
gets a little bit repetitive. Knowing that Kimber doesn’t know how the MC works
and get treat horribly for asking questions and sticking up for herself was at
time uncomfortable and it felt like it took a little while for the characters
to get into their groove in comparison to previous books in the series.
There is still a lot of chemistry, sexy scenes and scenes between other members of the MC in this book and it hasn’t put me off reading any more of the series. This one just wasn’t one of my favourites!
