Review: Repeat Offender - Lani Lynn Vale

Repeat Offender Repeat Offender by Lani Lynn Vale
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Repeat Offender sees Lani Lynn Vale return with a new series: Souls Chapel Revenant MC. The book shows the story of Lynnwood ‘Lynn’ Thatcher Windsor, a man who has had a lot of personas and lived a lot of lies. He’s the new mayor in town and he is not going to let the seedy underworld destroy everything good he is trying to work for. If only Ines ‘Six’ Broussard got the message. She is a hot mess of understatement and finds herself in the centre of Lynn’s problems. Thinking that Lynn is boring, he doesn’t ding on Six’s radar, until he does and then everything in the game starts to change.

This is a fast-paced passion filled, easy read. The characters are brilliant. I loved Six’s snarkiness, goofiness and just being different in general. She only seems to show her vulnerability to Lynn, but overall takes the world by the proverbial horns.

Lynn is completely different in contrast. An older man who has seen and done a lot in his life, he skirts the fringes of right and wrong and he seems to have a different persona depending upon the people he is dealing with. How he wants to run his town is intriguing and I can’t wait to get more into the series to see what each character brings to it.

Overall, another good read and a great start to a new series!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
