Bloody Savage God by Jordan Grant
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars
Bloody Savage God is book one in the Godless Heathens series by Jordan Grant. It focuses on the characters Saint and Willow. Saint has been living in Chryseum Reformatory Academy aka the Asylum for many years. He is a dark and unique psychopath and when you are in his sights, he wants to break you apart, only to put you together again. But he is bored, that is until Willow comes a long, a young woman with a tragic past who doesn’t quite understand why she is being sent to the Asylum, but knows that once she is under Saint’s spell, he is going to destroy her and help her be reborn.
This is a deliciously dark story about two broken people. There is a lot of drama between Saint and Willow as they figure out their relationship and the labels that go with that. I love the fact that Saint tries so hard to love Willow in the best way he can, and he is super intense throughout the whole book and will literally burn the world down to protect her!
I also enjoyed that Willow wasn’t a push over and she kept pushing back at Saint in the best ways possible.
This book is also full of twist and turns and some triggers that some readers might find difficult, but if you persevere, you’re going to be thrown into a world of debauchery, darkness and pure insanity that you’re not going to want to put this book down.
Overall, a great start to a new series and a new author for me. Read if you dare!
