Bombshell
by Jessica Prince is a sweet and sexy read! The story focuses on Marin, a young
woman who is doing her own thing as a burlesque dancer. Taking a cooking
course, she bumps into the brother of her abusive ex. Pierce has always been
cold towards Marin and she has never quite understood why, that is until they
are thrown together when Marin starts babysitting Pierce’s cute son. The sparks
are going to fly between the two of them, but past hurts could get in the way
of this budding romance.
This was a really sweet read with some great characters. Marin is sweet and sassy and knows what she wants and that is definitely Pierce. Even though she has been burnt in the past she is still confident in going for what she wants. The chemistry between Pierce and Marin is hot. Throw into that family dramas and a sweet little boy and you have a really well written and sweet contemporary romance. Definitely a good first in the series book and it will definitely get you interested in reading more from this author!
