Review: Wallflower - Jessica Prince

Wallflower Wallflower by Jessica Prince
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐ stars

Wallflower by Jessica Prince is book 5 in the Redemption series and is a quick paced, steamy contemporary romance that can be read as a standalone. The story focuses on Willow and Stone. Willow is your quintessential wallflower, she’d rather spend time by herself than in a crowd and in between work and looking after her ailing father, she doesn’t have much time to do more than crush on the uncommittable, tattooed mechanic, Stone. Every time she is near him, she becomes tongue tied, but that’s about to change as she approaches thirty and Stone isn’t going to know what hit him!

This was a quick read for me, it had a lot of emotion in it and Willow goes through a lot with not only her family but Stone, who at times you feel is messing her around. Stone grows emotions for Willow as he gets to know her more and sees the confident young woman who is behind the baggy clothes and shyness. Through the help of her friends, we see Willow grow in confidence throughout the book and eventually she does put Stone in his place and doesn’t let him rule the roost.

There is definitely some insta-love going on in the story with some great characters and some steamy scenes thrown into the mix. A good and easy read!
