Review: Watercolor Skulls - L.M. Terry

Watercolor Skulls: Rebel Skull MC Book Two Watercolor Skulls: Rebel Skull MC Book Two by L.M. Terry
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐  stars

Watercolor Skulls is another beautifully written book by L.M. Terry. It tells the story of Lily, a young woman who seems to have a perfect life, but everything is an illusion and soon that illusion shatters making Lily’s life implode on itself. On her new journey she meets Dan, a tall, tattooed man who is part of the Rebel Skulls MC who helps her come to terms with her past and her future.

This book was a wonderful read. There were true moments of sadness in Lily’s life and it seemed that it would take her under, especially when everything came to light and she sees what her father has done. Her relationship with Dan as well as the other members of the MC was special, showing her that you didn’t have to be blood to be family. This is a slow burn romance with lots going on in the storyline (not only between Lily and Dan).

I enjoyed reading about Dan and Lily’s relationship. Dan has such a great connection with Lily and the rest of the gang, sharing wisdom and vulnerability when it is needed. Lily was also a wonderful character to read about. She was strong, yet vulnerable and seemed to instantly click with everyone, even though she questioned her worth a number of times. We also saw the development of Jesse (Sugar and Skulls) and see how she has matured into a woman who knows her own worth and sees it in others.

Overall, this was a great read, with some rather special characters and an amazing story!
