Review: Training the Rookie - Natasha L. Black

Training the Rookie Training the Rookie by Natasha L. Black
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Training the Rookie by Natasha L. Black was a fast paced read for me as I just wanted to know what happened. Blair is a rookie cop who is paired with the smoking hot, Jeremy. Being a woman in the police force, Blair feels that she needs to prove her worth and falling for her new partner isn’t going to help that, even if he’s sexy, fun and smart, oh and he also has two equally, sexy, funny and smart brothers who also take her fancy, but how is she going to choose and keep her career on track? Due to an incident at work, Blair is thrown into the path of all three protective brothers, where she gets to spend time with them independently and in a group, here is where the fun begins.

This book was a great read. I particularly liked the relationship that the brothers had and they were all different but treated Blair like the strong woman that she is. Even though their relationship was complex, they all decided to work through it, albeit with a few road blocks and communication problems along the way. I also liked Blair as a character, even though she liked three men and understood what that would mean, she didn’t give up on being a police officer and certainly didn’t hide when it came to someone being after her, if anything, it made her more determined to do her job!

This was a sexy book to read and had a great story to it. It has definitely put Natasha L. Black on my must-read author list!
