Review: Redemption Road - Katie Ashley

Redemption Road Redemption Road by Katie Ashley
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐stars
Redemption Road by Katie Ashley is book 2 in the Vicious Cycle series and focuses on the characters Rev and Isabelle. Isabelle is thrown into a dangerous situation which sees her getting trafficked. Enter Rev, a member of the Hell Raiders MC, who stumbles across Isabelle trying to find one of his brothers daughter. Thrown together in complex and dangerous circumstances, Rev becomes Isabelle’s saviour, but he to harbours his own demons. Together they make a formidable team of vulnerability and strength as they both try and heal over the horrors that have happened to them, whilst trying to survive the man that is wanting Isabelle back.

This story had a lot of feels and you are thrown into the action straight away. Isabelle is hurt, angry and everything in-between after she has endured the worst that humanity could throw at you. She isn't exactly trusting of Rev to begin with, but as they open up more to each other you see the attraction become something more.

This book is a slow burn as the characters get to know each other and deal with their trauma as well as the dangers that are lurking around the corner. It also has a lot of emotions throughout the book and some triggers, so be warned. This is a gritty read so be warned before going into it. But in saying that, it was a good book in a series and does leave you wanting to read more about other characters in the MC.

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
