Review: A Fool's Game - Lore Townsend

A Fool's Game A Fool's Game by Lore Townsend
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐stars

A Fool’s Game by Lore Townsend tells the story of Ainsley, Gemma and Taylor and their often-complex relationship. Ainsley meets Gemma one night in a pub and there is an instant attraction, unbeknownst to him, she is already in a relationship with his boss who also happens to frustrate Ainsley at every turn, but he can’t deny that he has an attraction for both of them and there in lies the confliction. Taylor is Ainsley’s boss whilst he completes his community service, and Gemma is someone that he knows that he can’t have without Taylor. Throw in the use of the Tarot and we have a complex relationship about 3 people who love each other but who all have their own baggage.

This was a well written book with some great characters, told by each character POV which is great as we really get to see into their heads about what they are thinking and feeling. We also see growth of each character throughout the story and what they will do for family. Overall, an enjoyable read about love, chemistry and just being yourself.

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
