Review: No Cap - Lani Lynn Vale

No Cap No Cap by Lani Lynn Vale
My rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars

No Cap by Lani Lynn Vale is book one in the new Carter Brothers series. The story focuses on Quincey and Hollis. Hollis is not a girl to mess with, after the tragic death of her friend by a comedian who makes her the butt of his jokes, Hollis is determined to make him pay anyway she can but try and stay in the law doing it. The only problem is police officer, Quincey who keeps popping up everywhere she is, trying to keep her from jumping too far down the rabbit hole. Instantly there are sparks between the two, but both characters seem to have a lot going on before they get together.

I did love Quincey’s family and you instantly feel the love between all of them. (If you have read Welcome to the Circus series, you will have met some of the characters before) and know that they have each other’s back. And what Quincey does for Hollis after he met her family was just beautiful, although I don’t know if Hollis’s brother can quite be redeemed. There is just a great sense of emotion in this book that you want to know what happens to the characters. To say that both Hollis and Quincy have been through a lot and come out of the other side as good, hard-working people is an understatement. The fact that they found each other is just beautiful!

As always with Lani Lynn Vale books, there’s drama, suspense, some laugh out oud moments and everything in between. A great start to a new series!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
