Wild Cowboy Wolf is a wild ride by Kait Ballenger. The story focuses on Blaze and Dakota, friends who become something more, but danger is around every corner and when Blaze’s past comes back to haunt him, his and the lives of his pack mates become more complicated. Both Blaze and Dakota are warriors, but both questions their lives. Blaze questioning his past and Dakota questioning who she really is and what is missing from her life. The two have a passion for each other but have been afraid to make the first move due to their long-time friendship, but once they cross the line, boy do they burn! There is a lot going on in this story, with secrets coming to life, a new breed of shifters (who are certainly different), friends becoming lovers and people just making things complicated. It may have been easier to read this series from the beginning, but you can still follow along with the storylines if this is your first foray into this series. Overall, a good read with some intriguing twist and turns and two great characters who fight their attraction, but ultimately know that they are better together!
