Spicy Disaster by Lani Lynn ValeMy rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars
Odin had to give up his whole life and appearance when he committed a crime and was relocated. Having to give up his career as a doctor, he has been whiling his time away being a donor recipient for Constance's child (not that she knows) and when he is thrown into her path due to jury duty, things get complicated, especially when it seems that Constance doesn't like him because of her past history with motorcycle clubs.
I liked that both characters were surly to begin with, especially with each other and that it took a while for us to get into the romance of the book. There was certainly some pettiness from Constance which at times was hilarious. Both characters have complicated pasts which comes to light slowly throughout the book. We see what Odin did and why he was punished but you feel sympathy for him and the journey he has had to take.
I also liked that this book had a little bit of mystery thrown into it too which kept you guessing on what was happening. Overall, this was another great addition to the series.
ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
