The House
of BS & Lies by Lani Lynn Vale is book one in the new series: Don’t Date
Him. It tells the story of ex-con Romeo and Mable. Mable is a woman who is
struggling through her life, mainly due to how her family treats her (what they
do to her is pretty horrific), enter Romeo an ex-con who is trying to stay
under the radar. There is definitely instant attraction between the two
characters with a slow burn thrown in for good measure. Romeo and Mable are
great together; they have good banter and just seem to genuinely like each
other and Romeo has Mable’s back which is great.
A really
good start to a new series and I can’t wait to see what comes next!
