Hey Daddy by Lani Lynn Vale is book 2
in the Semyonov Bratva and focuses on the story of Nastya and Haze. Nastya and
Haze have a lot of chemistry from the get-go, the only issue is that Haze is a
police officer and Nastya comes from a family who blur the lines now and again,
outing Haze in a precarious situation. Nastya is a sassy, secret shopper, but
when a dead body turns up in her car, it sends her life spiralling out of
control and right into Haze’s orbit and sadly the target of a serial killer.
Haze definitely believes in Nastya
and is disheartened to see how she is treated when there is no evidence against
her. He also goes through his own trials and tribulations with a very
vindictive ex-wife, but a beautiful daughter who fits into Haze and Nastya’s
relationship seamlessly.
There are some wonderful times
between the characters in this book, which is fast paced, steamy and has a
little bit of drama to keep you turning the pages. It is a really great addition
to this series and will keep you engaged right until the end!
