Until Bax
is book 14 in the Until Him/Her series by Aurora Rose Reynolds and tells the
story of Bax and Olivia. Olivia comes back to town after a betrayal and to look
after her older parents. Upon her return she bumps into her crush Bax and they
definitely have a connection but due to Bax being her brother’s best friend and
some other complications thrown into the mix, neither really wants to do
anything about the attraction but when other things start happening to Olivia,
Bax must step up to the plate to protect her and will fight anyone who steps in
his way.
This was
a really sweet and steamy read. There's enough drama to keep you hooked,
characters from previous books pop up and the dynamic between Bax and Olivia is
page turning, especially when things start to heat up between them. I really
liked the banter between Olivia and Bax, even the mis-communication that
happened at times added to the story of two people trying to figure out how
they’re going to work when everyone else has an opinion on it. I also liked
that we got the POV from both characters and got a sense of what they were
thinking/feeling about each other and things that were going on.
Overall,
a great addition to this series and some really great characters!
