Review: Reaper - Bianca Lee Ward

Reaper Reaper by Bianca Lee Ward
My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars

Reaper by Bianca Lee Ward is book 1 in the War Brothers MC and introduces us to Reaper and Ava. Ava is introduced to Reaper when she is at her sister’s wedding, but unfortunately the vibrantly beautiful woman is married so Reaper lets her go, it is only through circumstances that Ava is thrown back into Reaper’s world when she tries to escape her abusive husband. Reaper gives Ava what she needs, which is a safe place to stay, but the passion between them can’t be ignored and the two of them are explosive together.

This was a great start to a new series with some really interesting characters and circumstances that throw them together. Ava and Reaper are great together and I liked how Ava stood up for herself, especially when it came to her manipulative husband. The relationship that she has with her sister is also complex and I enjoyed the fact that everything wasn’t super sweet but there was an edge of grittiness to the whole story.

The introduction to other characters in this series was great too, and I’ll be interested to see who else pops up in the series.

Overall, a really good MC read.
